What was once heralded as the solution to all our problems, the most advanced border patrol system of the new century will now never be. A gigantic, technologically-advanced WALL was the idea, one that would make the Great Wall of China look like a rocky piece of Commodor 64 (minus the awesome game Jump Man).

What we're left with now? Apart from a lack of cool ideas, not much. A region-to-region approach doesn't strike me as anything novel. No, I feel this administration has all but exhausted itself on this one. The answer, nonetheless, has been in front of us the whole time.
